          Release Notes: This release has several improvements and bugfixes. One of the more interesting new features is the availability of an OpenSearchServer Drupal module. There are some interesting API improvements for file and Web crawling, as well as in the scheduler (with more information provided) and in the parser (with editable parameters). 2 very nice features have been added: a sitemap generator and the ability to export the search result of any query into a CSV file for further analysis. Last but not least, comprehensive online documentation has been released.

            Release Notes: This second release candidate fixes the bugs identified in the first release candidate. One of the more interesting new features is the availability of an OpenSearchServer Drupal module. There are some interesting API improvements for file and Web crawling, as well as in the scheduler (with more information provided) and in the parser (with editable parameters). The addition of 2 very nice features: a sitemap generator and the ability to export the search result of any query into a CSV file for further analysis. Last but not least, the release of comprehensive online documentation.

                Release Notes: This developer release unveils new powerful features and some bugfixes.The screenshot feature automatically captures screenshots of the Web pages being crawled. Search queries are able to return terms from non-stored fields. Negative filters are available. The Web crawler is able to follow sitemap files.

                  Release Notes: This release has new features and bugfixes. The Web crawler stores a date telling when a page has been updated. It also stores a unique key to identify when pages are identical. The robots.txt check can be disabled. The database crawler is able to crawl URLs returned by an SQL query. The pattern list and the exclusion list can be disabled. It is now possible to boost the score of terms at indexation time. Queries are able to identify similar documents. CJK languages are supported.

                    Release Notes: The beta2 unveils the new scheduler base on the powerful Quartz Scheduler. This feature lets you plan periodic jobs without needing external tools (crontab, task planner, etc.). Each job may contain several tasks. You may start/stop the file or Web crawler, launch a database crawl, optimize the index, or replicate the index on one or more OpenSearchServer instances. The beta2 is stable and already used in production. This release also include some bugfixes.

                      Release Notes: More than 50 new features and bugfixes were added. An index can be replicated on a remote server. An n-grams filter and a shingle filter provide new possibilities, such as a suggestion box, wrong spelling tolerance, and automated topic generation. A database crawler supporting join queries and external files was added. Several improvements were made to the Web crawler, such as a URL exporter, sub-domain extraction, an exclusion list, manual crawling, and a parameter filter. An API and Web interface for monitoring and supervision was added. The new audio parser offers the ability to index torrent, MP3/MP4, OGG Vorbis, FLAC, and WMA files.
