Version 1.2.4 of OpenSearchServer

Release Notes: This release adds many new enhancements, performance improvements, and bugfixes, progress information in the scheduler task, asynchronous XML uploading, a default stop words list, auto-complete fields and analyzer, a scheduler task which copies terms to an index, advanced spell checking, a regular expression filter for the database crawler, boost queries, new scored snippets, URL normalization, and CSV exportation.

Release Notes: This release adds several improvement and bugfixes. The parser can now use an external executable to not consume the memory of the search server. A new term filter has been added. A new XML parser (XmlXPathParser) lets the user easily index any XML file by using XPath queries. Missing JDBC and JCIFS libraries were added. Some geolocation troubles have been fixed.

Release Notes: This new stable version brings lots of new features. It is now possible to create and manage scripts able to drive a browser with Selenium. The named entity recognition module has been finalized. The new 1.5 REST API has also been fully completed. Some bugs have been fixed: binary indexation does not fail anymore when using XML Load and the URL tag, and the highlighted XML attribute is now set on snippets nodes in Search API. Some other minor enhancements have been implemented, like the ability to choose different weight for phrase queries or term queries in the "Query (fields)" type of query.

Release Notes: Many bugs have been fixed. Spaces in URLs are correctly handled by the crawl API, and the HTTP connector of Tomcat uses the UTF-8 charset by default. Some external libraries have been upgraded. The deletion API now returns the number of deleted documents. The new MAPI messager parser can index offline Outlook messages. The REST crawler has been improved by integrating a callback mechanism.

Release Notes: This is the first beta release. This version is already pretty stable and used in several production environments. Index optimization is no longer required. Both file and Web crawlers are updated in realtime. The new search request includes new min, max, and count functions using collapsing. The REST crawler can index data available as a RESTful Web service using a JSON path.
