Release Notes: New server-side functions were provided. These are like stored procedures for RDBMS but in JavaScript. New record level security was provided, and the profiler now generates snapshots of metrics. JMX is now a plugin and is no longer installed by default. An automatic rebuild of the schema index is performed on restart after a crash/hard shutdown. A new EXPLAIN SQL command allows you to profile any command, and a LET keyword can be used to set context variables. support for sub-queries in CREATE EDGE was provided. The Object Database JPA interface now supports a configurable naming policy. New abstract classes were provided. Automatic backup can now start at a concrete time. 65 bugs were fixed in total.

Release Notes: A new eval() function for executing expressions, new if() and ifnull() functions, support for server-side configuration for functions, new DELETE VERTEX and DELETE EDGE commands, execution of database functions from SQL commands, and a new create cluster command.
