Release Notes: Multiple stability improvements were made. Automatic saving of cookies was fixed. Upload problems with Imageshack and similar services were resolved. Unrequested popping up of the error console was fixed. Right-click saved images are no longer saved in the Transfers list. Problems with closing of Flash pop-ups were fixed. The IMAP backend was improved, and several bugs were fixed. Various further user interface and display bugs were fixed.

Release Notes: Support for small Web applications (Widgets) was implemented. Site-specific preferences, including a content blocking feature and a management interface, were introduced. The popup blocker was enhanced. Bittorrent support was added. An error console, an editor for search shortcuts, and an internal source viewer/editor were added. Web page thumbnails were enabled. Support for Acid 2 and several CSS 3 properties was improved. Plugins using the Netscape plugin API 0.16 are now supported, and the need for Motif was removed. New IMAP mailer code was implemented. A system tray icon was added for Unix.

Release Notes: Several display bugs were fixed. Several fixes for Web archives, including saving of XHTML documents, were implemented. Tab selection when exiting full screen mode was fixed. Temporary downloads are now cleared when deleting the cache. Stability with Java applets was improved. An SSL negotiation problem was fixed. Multi-tracker support was added to BitTorrent. Many improvements for Widgets were introduced. A system tray icon was added for Unix. International input via dead keys and IM was fixed. Duplicated messages in IMAP and re-download of feeds was fixed.

Release Notes: This is a security release; updating is recommended for all platforms. The status bar issue described in Secunia Advisory 17571 has been fixed. Stricter handling of the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) has been implemented. Expired certificates from TrustCenter have been replaced. A drop-down list problem affecting Bloglines subscription sorting has been fixed.

Release Notes: A fix was added for a Unix command execution vulnerability, as reported in Secunia Advisory 16907. Updating is recommended. Furthermore, several stability issues were addressed, IRC connection problems were solved, and an Answers.com search option was added.

Release Notes: Starting with this release, Opera is now free of ad banners and any licensing fee. Two security issues reported in Secunia Advisory 16645 and a drag-and-drop vulnerability have been fixed. Several stability fixes have been made. Browser Javascript has been introduced.
