Release Notes: Support for virus scanning using clamav, spam checking with SpamAssassin, spamlearn support, background mail filtering, MS-TNEF support, lightbar quick selection, multiple message forwarding, auto-login, speed improvement for large folders, and two security fixes. There were also many other minor improvements and bugfixes.

Release Notes: New features include full HTML composing support (including inlined message and sound), HTTP compression support, an improved POP3 implementation, forward/autoreply for virtual users, use of a Web cache on the results of some operations, and a new syntax 'DEFAULT_...' in openwebmail.conf. The bug that caused 'Too many open files' or 'file lock' errors in persistence mode under heavy load has been fixed.

Release Notes: Persistent running support with SpeedyCGI (5x-10x SPEEDUP), a new virtual user management module openwebmail-vdomain.pl, and a new authentication module auth_vdomain.pl for vm-pop3d+postfix system were added. New iconsets (XPred/XPgreen/XPblue/XPpurple), personal dictionary support in spellcheck, and webdisk_rootptah support were also added. The display code for calendar dayview was rewritten,thumbnail support in openwebmail-tool.pl was added, a security fix was made for a serious bug where all local users can execute their Perl script as root, and many minor bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: A new webdisk module was added, supporting basic file operation like copy, move, delete, online archive listing/compression/decompression, thumbnail, file download/upload, file name/content search, and attachment copying between messages and webdisk. SSH terminal support, calendar color event support, and shout-cut key support were added. The openwebmail-tool.pl utility was improved. A serious secuity bug was fixed. Many minor enhancement and bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: This release includes charset auto-conversion (including UTF-8 support), complete online help, reply with stationery support, a pure text icon set, new mail notification with a popup window, calendar event notification with email, support for displaying HTML messages containing framesets, an autocut folder feature if the quota is hit, and many minor bugfixes.

Release Notes: New calendar support is added, with features including year/month/week/day view, single/multiple day events, a global calendar, an event reminder, and Chinese lunar date displaying. Other changes include advanced searching, mark as read for all messages in a folder, basic authentication support for the POP3 protocol, saving a message to a draft folder if there is any error in email sending, and many bugfixes.

Release Notes: Timestamp routines are heavily rewritten. Message uses sending time instead of receiving time as a time stamp. Each user can have his own timezone. Many new options were added, including timeoffset, regexmatch, showimgaslink, backupsentmsg, filter_fakedfrom, xmailer_has_version, xoriginateip_has_userid, enable_domainselectmenu, make_homedir, and delpop3mail_hidden. Other changes include the new authentication modules auth_mysql_vmail.pl and auth_pgsql.pl, a pure Perl big5/gb conversion routine, the move_to_trash button, and many bugfixes.

Release Notes: Open WebMail now uses openwebmail.conf.default to hold all configuration options, and openwebmail.conf for the overrides. Many new options were added, including: auth_withdomain, getmail_from_pop3_authserver, delpop3mail_by_default, loginerrordelay, smtpport, and default_formemail. Other changes include a new authentication module, older check/reindex, better support for vm-pop3d, better compatibility with Mozilla and lynx, and a lot of bugfixes.

Release Notes: The new features in this release include remote SMTP relay support, mark read/unread, multiple date formats, message priority, message/partial and message/external-body content-type support, forward editing with optional 'keep local copy', search in addressbook filter counter/lastdate display, message re-paragraphing, mail footers, and many minor enhancements. A lot of minor bugs are also fixed in this release.

Release Notes: A new option 'symboliclink_mbox' has been added to openwebmail.conf. Two options 'confirm before msg move/copy' and 'filter msgs with faked exe contenttype' were added to the user preferences. openwebmail.pl has been split into two programs for better performance, the global filter rule has been updated to catch new viruses, and many minor bugs were fixed.
