Release Notes: OpenVerse is capable of supporting any language users are will to translate it into. The personal OpenVerse server has been updated to make it easier for new users to get set up. Help is more complete and includes help on setting up the personal server. There are many bug fixes.
Release Notes: The ability to use any font on your system in the chat balloons, a completely changed formula for creating the balloons (any font and any text length should fit correctly now), fixes for loads of memory issues, a complete GUI setup tool for the personal server including registration with the listing service, more hooks for client plugins to use, the ability to move server objects after they have been displayed without having to recreate them and losing their window level, splitting of the debug window into protocol and application level windows, and many assorted bugfixes, memory cleanups, and additional debugging info.
Release Notes: The OpenVerse Rapid Transit system was improved by including a self-generating/updating web page and by providing the users much more information about the servers. A new game, "Monthello", was introduced. Download progress bars are now colored to indicate transfer direction. The client was changed to detect protocol-level errors. Many documentation changes were made. It is now easier to shut off private messaging with multiple users. A number of bugs in the client were fixed.

Release Notes: A fix for an obscure, but important, security bug. Upgrade recommended. Other changes include a history of room visits, bug fixes with canceled room downloads, a text notice is now sent when personal info is requested, server bugfix where logging in users were shown when they should not have been, a fix for a file location problem in the Avatar Editor, a bugfix related to having nametags shut off, installation of a GNOME icon in the applications menu, some performance enhancements in the server and client code, and a bugfix in setup screen relating to default server.

Release Notes: Fixes for some problems in the setup screen, enabling of the sending and receiving of user's personal information (read the changelog for more detail), some new function traps to be used by plugins, server admins can now shut off the push function, Fixes for some problems with colored nametags when in query mode, addition of rot13 encoding, a fix for a bug with background images when changing rooms very quickly, auto expiration of room and avatar images, and logging into a server should show items more quickly now.

Release Notes: Additions to the technical docs for the server code, more visual clues when a user sends a URL to another user, changes to the Avatar Editor that allow it to select images from anywhere on the user's machine, better menus and a friendlier display for user nametags, Server Objects (this is a big change, see the CHANGELOG for a more complete description), centralized movement code (which now allows everyone to move at once), several minor new features including /CALL and a text window eraser, a better-working passageway refresh, and a fix so abuse-prone pushing will no longer activate server objects.
