    Release Notes: Support for AES and ECC on F2M curves has been added. The code has been split into a core library and the shell itself. Based on the core library, a new sub-project "Smart Card Scripting Environment for Eclipse" has been started to provide a development environment for Smart Card Shell scripts. Many bugs have been fixed, and the documentation has been improved. Application scripts have been moved to a separate package and are no longer bundled with the shell.

      Release Notes: Support for accessing PKCS#11 modules has been added to the scripting environment, enabling the use of hardware tokens to store cryptographic material. The set of scripts for the German health insurance card has been improved to allow browsing the XML data structures. The runtime environment has been moved to Java 1.5, and the latest versions of Bouncycastle and Rhino are included. Many bugs have been fixed and the documentation has been reviewed.

        Release Notes: This release marks a milestone with the introduction of support for secure messaging according to ISO 7816-4 and eSign-K (CWA 14890-1). Secure messaging is used in a range of smart card applications to ensure integrity and confidentiality in the terminal to chip communication. The new scripting classes allow you to write scripts that use secure messaging available in most native smart card operating systems. This release also adds full support for Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC over GF(P)), which is becoming more and more popular in smart card applications.

          Release Notes: This release added outline node functionality for building Explorer-like GUIs, support for Global Platform profiles, support for more Global Platform scripting classes, an explorer for various smart card applications, basic support for CMS, support for JavaCard applet loading, new methods in the Key and Crypto classes, a card terminal for accessing the JCOP card simulation from IBM JCOP tools, improved support for Linux, improved documentationm, and bugfixes.
