URIBL_JP_SURBL was added from SURBL for more accurate spam detection. ClamAV was updated to 0.86.1, which fixes a DOS attack vulnerability when handling compressed archives. Razor2 was updated to 2.72, which fixes a denial of service attack when handling certain malformed messages. The Compress-Zlib, File-Temp, and ExtUtils-MakeMaker perl modules were updated. Rules Du Jour was updated to 1.21 to include updated SA rulesets like SARE. An automatic warning is now given to the admin if a new version of OpenProtect is released.

Release Notes: This release adds SA 3.0.2 with SURBL support for faster Spam Scanning. RazorV2 has been added for a faster and more accurate spam classification through SA. Overall memory/CPU usage of SA has been reduced by over 50 MB by deleting bigevil, and instead using SURBL.

It adds an option to clean the quarantine directory, updates the Perl modules and zlib, fixes a bug where disabling/enabling was done twice, changes the qmail module for a cleaner, faster algorithm, adds an automated conf-split for incoming qmail queues, fixes the Postfix header_checks file ownership, changes the automatic cron startup to be aware of the disabled state, and fixes a bug where AV updates were done twice during the install.

Release Notes: The rc directories link has been fixed for SuSE and Mandrake. Installation under architectures other than i386 has been fixed. The OpenTunnel Support package is optional. One redundant input during qmail enable has been removed. A default value in openprotect-enable has been fixed. Stale lock files in /tmp and other scripts in /usr/bin are deleted during uninstallation. There is better pattern matching for IP address in the Qmail module.

Modules are now installed after prompting the user for permission to install KAV, ClamAV, SA, Perl modules, etc. The installer can detect MailScanner configuration files from a previous version and use them for the new installation.
