Open Motif Everywhere

Open Motif Everywhere is the standard distribution of Open Motif built from the official Open Group sources for Open Motif. It has been ported to all popular Linux (and BSD) environments. Most modern distributions of Linux and BSD include the stable release. Annual support contracts are also available.

    Release Notes: Client-side anti-aliased fonts are supported via XFT. UTF-8 and UTF8_STRING atom support. The ability to show text and pixmaps in Label, LabelGadget, and all derived widgets Support for PNG and JPEG image formats in the same way as XPM is supported. Over 25 bugfixes.

      Release Notes: This is primarily a bugfix release, with some 25+ bugfixes. Major work was done in ensuring that it is fully thread safe.

          Release Notes: This is a major update to Open Motif. Ten new widgets have been added, including tabstacks, validating data entry fields, and trees. In addition, tooltips have been added to all visible widgets.

            Release Notes: This release officially incorporates Open Group Patch 3 and Patch 4 into the Open Motif release. These patches include numerous bugfixes and updates to the Motif libraries, clients, and the demo source code. RPMs (version 4) are also provided for both Red Hat Linux 7, SuSE Linux 7.1, and other systems using glibc 2.2. An RPM for the latest Red Hat Itanium beta is also provided.
