Release Notes: This release features a major code overhaul from earlier versions. Notably, the kiosk locker window no longer runs in the address space of KDE's kicker. Instead, a proxy applet launches a separate KioskLock process and communicates to it via DCOP (KDE's IPC mechanism). This way, switching to Kiosk-Mode UI can be a seamless process. In addition, initial support for deploying kiosk desktop Web applications (HTML + JavaScript + Java + Flash) is now included.


Release Notes: This release focuses primarily on the KDE client. Coding errors that worked on an older gcc but got caught on the latest version of gcc are fixed. In addition to fixing event lockup anomalies, a disconnect button has been added to the main view of the applet to easily log off from a kiosk account.
