Open HPI is an open source project created to provide an open implementation of the SA Forum's Hardware Platform Interface (HPI). It provides a universal interface for Platform Management, including hardware sensor monitoring and control.

Release Notes: This is a development release that includes an improved build structure, new power management controls for HP c-Class enclosures, a new dynamic simulator plugin, and many enhancements to the OpenHPI clients. Approximately 30 defects were fixed.

Many fixes were made to the HPI Shell, and fixes were also made to the OpenHPI Daemon, base library, and to the HP c-Class, HP ProLiant, IPMI Direct, and SNMP Client plug-ins. Enhancements were made to several of the plug-ins and the build system.
