Opendedup is proud to announce SDFS, the high performance, inline file system for Linux has been ported to Windows. This will allow users to mount, read, and write data to a deduplication based file system. Adding support for Windows support will allow a larger group to leverage the storage savings for deduplication.
SDFS is designed to provide inline deduplication for applications such as files shares and virtual machines. With SDFS deduplicated data can be store on disk or in the "Cloud". SDFS also provides for snapshots and cross platform mounting, between Windows and Linux.
