OpenDDS

OpenDDS is a C++ implementation of the Object Management Group's Data Distribution Service for real-time systems specification. In particular, this implements the Data-Centric Publish-Subscribe (DCPS) layer of the DDS specification.

    Release Notes: Java bindings were added. Multiple metadata repositories are supported. The WaitSet, GuardCondition, and StatusCondition interfaces were implemented from the OMG DDS specification. The requirement for repository domain specification files was removed. Internal service Entity identifiers have been expanded to 128 bits. QoS bugs and bugs that affected connection establishment were fixed. datalink_release_delay was added and keep_link configuration was removed. A potential deadlock in reliable multicast transport was fixed.

        Release Notes: Support for built-in CORBA:: sequences was added. DDS entities have changed to local IDL types and now support zero-copy reads. User-defined DDS types are now correctly scoped.
