OpenCT implements driver and middlerware for smart card readers. OpenCT drivers can be used via the ct-api interface, the ifdhandler interface, or its own interface/middleware. It implements drivers for several USB crypto tokens, USB smart card readers, serial smart card readers, and PCMCIA smart card readers.

    Release Notes: The Rutoken S binary interfaces were modified. The Makefiles were fixed in the doc/ directory.

      Release Notes: The build system has been changed, including new configure options. The CCID driver was improved.

          Release Notes: Alternative udev rules based on MODALIAS were added. Wiki export was updated. Lots of functions were made static. Variables that clashed with function names (such as index) were changed. The DragonFly BSD build was fixed. Small delays were added to the smph driver. A pcsclite compilation issue was fixed. ccid was added as a fall-back driver if no other is found. More drivers were added to etc/ files. Lots of warnings and issues found by sparse were fixed. Contactless reader support was added (librfid). The cm4000/cm4040 drivers were fixed.

            Release Notes: Compiling on non-Linux systems was fixed. Three compiler/sparse warnings were removed.
