OpenBlox is a cross-platform 3D game development kit that is written in Python and uses Lua as the main development language. Its primary advantage is that no 3D modeling experience is required to use it - you make your worlds with Lego-like bricks.

Release Notes: This release added an avatar that never falls down, two new graphics modes (Cartoon and Cartoon+Ink), built-in Windows 7 support, a new third-person camera mode, a new bundled game, Mystery Canyon, a graphical configuration tool, shadow support (experimental, and won't work with either of the new graphics modes), and BloxWorks - OpenBlox's new drag-and-drop game builder.


Release Notes: This release introduces fixed Windows 7 support, the ability to add and remove bricks in Lua at runtime, new Windows and Linux installers, and smooth character movement.
