Open Administration for Schools
Open Administration for Schools (OAfS) is a Web-based school administration package. Open Admin does demographics, attendance, discipline, report cards, and has an online gradebook and parent viewing function. It is designed for elementary, K-12, and high schools. It generates plain HTML and uses LaTeX for PDF generation. It also includes special education and division-wide central office modules (all schools run on the same server with different virtual sites; two sites per school, one for teachers, and one for the office). Parent functions are by separate parent/school site.

Release Notes: A new homework system and new Moodle 1.9.x external database support. The Fees system was updated along with subjects and the subject enrollment system. There were many phrase reductions and rewrites, and many other smaller improvements including reduced HTML page parameter passing.

Release Notes: This release completes the system configuration scripting (except for hand holding configuration scripting). It adds a new update configuration script to update from earlier versions (back to 4.75). It adds install scripting for CentOS. The Spanish translation is now available. New year configuration scripting was added. Updates were made to report card and attendance scripts and library. Lots of other smaller things were done.
