The Einstein Platform allows NewtonOS to run on other operating systems. It currently runs on Mac OS X (ppc and x86), Zaurus (with OpenZaurus), Nokia Internet Tablets 770 and 800, and Windows (with Cygwin and X11).

Release Notes: The emulator module now uses less RAM and is PC-agnostic. The emulation of several instructions was fixed and regression tests were written. A compilation was made for Nokia's IT OS 2006. Experimental direct ARM to ARM translation was added. The code is now open source. A port to Cygwin was made.
