OpenOffice.org Quickstarter is a small application that runs in the KDE SystemTray. It is used to quickly start the different OpenOffice.org modules without having to go through the K-Menu. Instead of just starting of applications, you can also select multiple files in the usual opendialog provided by KDE to open them in OpenOffice.org, use a history of recently opened files, configure the app to do one of the above described functions on a simple double click, and use the app to keep a hidden instance of OpenOffice.org in memory to achieve much shorter startup times of the OpenOffice.org modules.

Release Notes: Bosnian, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Italian, Polish, and Spanish translations were included.
Release Notes: Italian and Dutch translations were added. An autostart bug and a problem with auto-detection of OpenOffice.org installations were fixed.
Release Notes: Russian and Slowakian translations have been added. Some internals have been changed for autostart handling. If you upgrade from 2.0, please remove the file $HOME/.kde/Autostart/oooqs.desktop. It shouldn't do any harm, but it's best to remove it, as it isn't needed anymore and shouldn't have been there at all. It will probably cause problems if you uninstall OOoQs.
Release Notes: The whole code was rewritten. The app now matches the look and feel of its Windows counterpart.
Release Notes: A compilation bug that occurred when debugging was disabled has been fixed. A problem with the open file/template bug where "recent" would get deactivated if "open" was deactivated was also fixed. Some spelling errors were corrected, the documentation was updated, and a German translation was included.
