Release Notes: This release implemented multichannel audio output and SPDIF AC3/DTS/PCM output for OSS and ALSA drivers. Cropping and zooming of the video output was added, along with the presentation of title, chapter, time, and DVD volume info. It's also possible to skip forward or backward a specific amount of time, defaulting to 10 seconds. XScreensaver and the internal screensaver are disabled while video is playing. The amount of material printed on standard output was reduced, help for setting the DVD device and features was included, and navigation fixes and support for more DVD features were added.

Release Notes: Ogle now also works on FreeBSD, NetBSD, and OpenBSD. It gets aspect information from the IFO file, which should be correct for all cases. Fixes were made to the subtitle overlay functionality, and there should no longer be parts that stay on for an entire movie. MPEG parsing/decoding is now more robus, and more DVDs should now work. A configuration file is now used for keybindings and the default path/device to open. libao from liba52 is included to avoid the Ogg Vorbis name clash. All the binaries are given prefixes of ogle_. The binaries are no longer all installed in bin.
Release Notes: Integrated sound (liba52), new audio sync code, slow motion, fast forward, and pause, faster Sun FFB2 yuv2rgb code, a man page, minor bugfixes, and ogle_gui installs the pixmaps in "prefix".
