Release Notes: Bugs with only the first 8 bytes of authentication and connection strings being encrypted, SQLBrowseConnect, auditing of file permissions and time stamps, installation, non-deletion of temp files, and tru64 unaligned access fixed. Failed auth attempt auditing, UNIX support for server connection inactivity timeouts, support for HTTP cache control, new HTTP front-end admin interface, and support for QNX added.
Release Notes: This is mostly a bugfix release; the free one-connection license no longer expires. Minor enhancements to auditing, better error reporting, support for xinetd, HTTP authentication in more Web pages, support for threaded applications on more platforms, better service support, and many small ODBC compliance fixes were made.
