Release Notes: Several bug fixes were made. The memory requirements were reduced. Minor enhancements were made, including better error handling for UNIX install scripts. An installation problem was fixed in which the installer could mistakenly believe untar operations had failed on Sinix. The "groups=yes" option was added to the OOB Server configuration for xinetd. Without this option, some xinetds (such as the one that comes with Mac OS X 10.2) output a setgroups warning and close the socket without running the OOB Server. A problem in UNIX OOB Server which could raise a SIGPIPE when the client disconnects was fixed.

Release Notes: A problem in which restarting the OOB Server service from the Service Manager (instead of stopping and then starting) could lead to multiple instances of the OOB HTTP Administrator process was fixed. The ImagePath registry setting for the OOB Server Service contained a double backslash (\\), which has been corrected to \. There is no indication that this was causing anyone a problem.
