OBSearch

OBSearch is a distributed similarity search index. It can (for example) match programs and help to detect Open Source/Libre license violations, find music that sounds like Sisters of Mercy, or match huge vectors of randomly generated integers just for fun.

    Release Notes: Massive cleanup was done. Lots of indexes that are not so cool anymore were removed. There is now only one supported index, Sketch64, which is specially designed for high dimensional objects.

      Release Notes: Improvements were made in the Cache. The API was slightly modified to make it easier to use spore files.

        Release Notes: Many optimizations were made and many parameters were tuned. The P+Tree's space tree is now asymmetric, and this is translated into improved speed. K-means was also improved and now the centers selected should be better than before. An Unsafe version of the P+Tree index was added.

          Release Notes: Several optimizations were made, including a 13-fold improvement in freeze for P+Tree. A Kmeans++ pivot selector was implemented. TentaclePivotSelector was improved.
