Release Notes: This release provides better support for method inlining. In addition, minor bugs have been resolved.
Release Notes: The focus of this release is increased stability and improved performance. The language has grown up a lot over the past 9 months. Since version 1.0, the following features and enhancements have been made: thread support, XML support, introspection, richer class libraries, full 64-bit support (for OS X and Linux), native API support, and numerous bugfixes. This release includes aggressive code generation optimizations, bugfixes, and updated code examples.
Release Notes: This patch fixes a bug related to evoking a higher-order function from a native (JIT compiled) function. While the bug was isolated to the compiler, all of the binaries have been refreshed to reflect the new version number.
Release Notes: This release provides support for data serialization. The virtual machine has been tuned for improved performance. The functionality of the debugger has been enhanced and known bugs were resolved.
Release Notes: This release provides improved reporting of syntax errors. In addition, “ToLower” and “ToUpper” were added to the Character class.
Release Notes: This release addresses an issue related to the linking of Windows binaries. In the past, the binaries depended upon two Microsoft C runtime DLLs that many people have on their machines. Now those libraries are being statically linked into the binaries.
Release Notes: This release provides support for runtime introspection. New classes were added to support introspection along with the inclusion of the "TypeOf" keyword. Performance tuning was done. Minor bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: This release contains initial API support for C shared libraries (i.e. DLLs) on all supported platforms. In addition, minor bugfixes were made to improve stability.
Release Notes: This minor release contains basic fixes that better detect certain contextual compile errors. In addition, a program "exit" API was added to the Runtime class.
