Release Notes: Several bugs in the Linux driver interface were fixed, which previously made acquisition fail to start on certain Linux installations. A bug in the Nextview EPG data stream decoder was fixed, which previously sometimes lead to display of corrupt or entirely blank network names. Various display bugs (related to changes for Tcl/Tk 8.5 compatibility) were fixed, such as incorrectly displayed "special" characters in the main window and configuration dialogs and even a crash upon program start with thread-enabled Tcl/Tk libraries.
Release Notes: A grabber tjat extracts EPG data from teletext pages has been added. Import and merge of EPG data from XMLTV files has been implemented. The protocol for interaction with TV applications such as xawtv and tvtime has been extended. A pure data acquisition daemon has been split off for use on systems without X libraries.
Release Notes: Robustness against transmission errors has been improved in the Nextview EPG data stream decoder. Interaction with the TV application "tvtime" has been fixed. A workaround for a bug in the bttv driver in Linux kernel 2.6.16 has been implemented. The German translation of the documentation has been improved.
Release Notes: A bug in the database export in XML format was fixed. Several bugs were fixed in HTML export, and the layout was improved. A new command line option "-outfile ..." was added to simplify script-based data export. Network identification by VPS/PDC during interaction with TV applications was improved. Support for reading the channel tables of the TV application K!TV 2.3 was added. A bug in the handling of the daylight saving time switch was fixed.
Release Notes: A bug in Nextview acquisition parameter handling was fixed that caused acquisition to fail if both French and German providers were used. A bug in timezone calculation for Belgian provider VT4 was fixed. A bug in text searches was fixed that limited case-ignoring searches to the first 258 characters in description texts of merged databases. The ability to store expire-time filter settings in shortcuts was added. Text foreground colors in the program list were made configurable. Text formatting options in user-defined columns were extended.
Release Notes: Filter shortcuts organization was extended to allow the use of sub-folders and separators. Several command line options were added to simplify acquisition control via scripts. A new teletext decoder was included which can deal better with bad TV signal reception. Decoding error rates output was also added to the acquisition statistics. A work-around for 2nd generation video4linux drivers was added to prevent inadvertent channel changes during TV watching. Many more minor improvements and fixes were made.
Release Notes: The ability to set reminders for specific TV shows or shortcuts (e.g. for all your favorite series) was added. A colored weekday scrollbar was added to the right of the TV schedule. Formatting options in the program list were extended by free choice of colors, background color settings, and colored weekday labels. Browsing of expired TV shows was implemented so that you can look up details on yesterday's movies. Filter shortcut capabilities were extended and text search was made more comfortable.
Release Notes: Several bugs in horizontal scrolling, Nextview EPG provider scan, and the Linux saa7134 driver interface were fixed. The French default shortcut "Météo" was repaired. Configuration options for interaction with xawdecode instead of xawtv were added. The user interface to the program list was improved in multiple ways (e.g. scrolling is allowed by dragging with middle mouse button). A command line option -tvdisplay was added to allow interaction with TV applications on different displays.
Release Notes: In this release, an alternate layout for TV schedule display was added which features separate columns per network, similar to paper-based TV magazines. Support for new TV cards with Conexant CX23881 and Philips SAA7134 capture chips was added. The text search filter was extended to allow combining several search strings with a logical OR. Also, several bugs in description text display were fixed.
Release Notes: Redundancy removal was improved for the descriptions from French Nextview providers by suppressing the repetition of "Au sommaire: ..." paragraphs, and more. Key bindings were added to all menu button popup menus in the configuration dialogs, and bugs in the parameters for the "Philips SECAM" tuner and maximizing windows under Windows were fixed.
