Release Notes: The problem with getting disconnected after 60 seconds is fixed.

Release Notes: An enhanced HTML parser, a 120 second wait after away message sent till another one is sent, new control keys, saving of away messages, auto away message, saves info, a restructured buddy window, and a simple status bar.

Release Notes: Conversion to a GNU style distribution, and a fix for a bug that caused people who had no online buddylist to not be able to fully log on.

Release Notes: This release supports window resizing in X terminal emulators, support for AOL chat rooms, slimming-down of firetalk for smaller executable size, word wrapping support, autoreconnect support, and fixing of parsing lessthan's which are not real tags.

No changes have been submitted for this release.

ntaim
trying to use ntaim. i installed a debian package. i logon and chat briefly before getting this ALERT message:

INFO: Attempting to login...
INFO: Initializing...
INFO: Settings loaded successfully.
INFO: Login Successful.
ALERT: you have been disconnected from the AIM server.

can anyone tell me if/what i have done incorrectly?

no gui
mine doesn't have an openGL gui. did i compile it wrong?

from my experience it's not my code but firetalk which has problems... it seems to have problems with random usernames... the user can not recieve or send IM's but is online. The buddylist only displays people online according to AOL's buddylist for you. Whether uploading of the buddylist works i dont know... i've had it work before.. and some times not. Most of the problems appear to be firetalk.. which i didnt write...

Needs work
It looks like a promising client.
I will be glad to use this if it gets better, i'm certainly tired of naim.
It took me a while to even log in to aim.
After that adding people to my buddy list did not work.
My brother could not message me even though I was online according to ntaim.
