NetStats Baseball

NSB is a simulation of major league baseball which will play single games and entire seasons. It will keep statistics for the individual players and the teams. It will keep track of the season schedule as well as seasonal and lifetime records. Network play is supported.

    Release Notes: This release adds the ability to auto-create a team based on user-created formulas, adds the ability to run NSB season/league games non-interactively, adds the ability to speak play-by-play during gameplay, adds headshot pics for all players for all years, improves input (Real Life) data, and adds various bugfixes, minor improvements, and editorial improvements.

      Release Notes: 2011 Real Life data was added. Help was added for the abbreviations used. The ability to view real life category leaders across multiple years was added along with the ability to show pics of the current pitcher and current batter during gameplay, a "This Day in Baseball" feature, and the ability to generate stat rankings based upon user-created formulas. The input (Real Life) data and the AI were improved.

        Release Notes: This release adds the ability to find the best Real Life teams for given years. It adds the ability to auto-establish a league. It adds the ability to establish a series between two teams. It adds 2010 Real Life data. It improves other Real Life data. It increases the maximum number of teams in a league.

          Release Notes: Several statistic drop-down menu items were added for both Real Life data and current league data. Play-by-play was spruced up. Real Life data was improved. Various bugs were squashed. Various minor improvements were made.

            Release Notes: This release implements processing to handle team ties at ends of seasons. It adds user preference settings, the ability to create/edit teams, 2009 real life data, and a tiredness factor for pitchers. It has an improved leaders display for percentage categories (batting average, earned run average, etc.). Note that if upgrading from a previous version, all Records files need to be removed before running this version (see the INSTALL file). A printing bug with multiple stats windows open has been fixed. Input data has been improved. The 1936 Philadelphia Phillies data has been corrected.
