Release Notes: This release adds the option to model an accretion disk. Minor numerical bugs have been fixed, and the "sqrt individual" limb darkening option has been removed, since it has no proper flux normalization, and hence yields incorrect results.
Release Notes: Model atmospheres are available for a range of surface gravities now (log g = 3.5..5.0), and for temperatures as low as 2000K. Limb darkening and gravity darkening coefficients have been updated. A minor glitch in the OpenGL visualisation of flux distribution has been fixed.
Release Notes: In the OpenGL animation, it is now possible to visualize the variation of temperature, gravity, flux, and velocity (towards the observer) across the stellar surface. Stars are coloured according to their surface temperature.
Release Notes: This release includes support for parallelization based on the MPI standard. To build a parallel version, an MPI library is required (such as the free MPICC library for Linux). Some compilation problems on FreeBSD and on the Cray T3E and NEC SX-5 have been fixed.
Release Notes: This release supports OpenGL animations of binary stars. In OpenGL mode, animations can be saved as a sequence of JPEG images to create movies. Some minor bugs have been fixed.
