Release Notes: This release fixes a vulnerability which exploited the Admin interface’s password restoration. This patch permanently fixes that issue, and allows full use of the password restore functionality. Upgrading is highly recommended for all users. In addition, there are improvements to the media archive which offer far greater stability to news organisations with large collections of images, and articles, topics, themes, and performance have all seen minor fixes and improvements.
Release Notes: Overhauled media archive with multiple file upload, faster search, and slideshows. Drag-and-drop front page management and article ordering. Community management allows visitors to sign up for a profile and comment and follow topics. The SoundCloud plugin has been improved to manage and upload audio. Related Article Lists for creating thematic groups of articles. An improved comments interface, actions, and workflow.
Release Notes: The user experience in the user management screen was improved. The Zen theme was included into the new theme manager. User permissions were improved, "Select all" can be enabled to perform actions on permissions, the "Add Publication" button has been removed from the theme manager. Multiple bug fixes are also included from the last RC.
Release Notes: Issues relating to user permissions and selecting articles have been dealt with and content search now pulls up all content from translated issues. Reported bugs involving the HTML button unnecessarily cleaning code for embedded objects and an occasional failure to save content were identified. Upgrading also no longer creates an occasional error in the TinyMCE editor. ReCaptcha for Newscoop’s subscription feature is now implemented. Blog listings (blogs, entries, comments) were also improved with new pagination and a link to blog entries list added to make finding content easier.
Release Notes: This upgrade addresses security and stability issues with over 60 bug fixes, including improvements to the dashboard, the article edit screen, and the blogs, interviews, and polls plugins. A few less visible changes were made to tighten security, so upgrading is strongly recommended.
Release Notes: This security update fixed an XSS vulnerability in the admin login page plus front end vulnerablities to cross-site scripting attacks.
Release Notes: Two new features were introduced, ten bugs were fixed, and four improvements were made. Login problems that have been reported by IE and Opera users have been solved. A Polish localization and multiple template upload were added.
Release Notes: This release added custom ordering in the article universal list, a software code syntax highlighter in the article editor, and many bugfixes, including the revision of all operations to prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. An LDAP authentication plugin that allows easier integration with third-party systems is now available.
Release Notes: This release fixes a potential XSS vulnerability, improves session handling to avoid logged user session grabbing via CSRF attacks, improves the universal list function (which allows the user to choose how to list and search articles in the admin interface), and updates the UI redesign. The next Campsite update is due at the end of August.
Release Notes: Over fifty bug fixes and improvements were made. This version includes dramatically improved search options (both internally and for external search engines), a clean up of the graphical interface (new-look icons and admin interface), and easier installation.
