Release Notes: A new WYSIWYG editor (TinyMCE instead of Xinha). An improved search engine (allows for advanced search options). A static author field (allows for easier article author/writer-related features on sites). Improved article statistics (including more front-end use of the stats, e.g. most commented). AJAX saving in the article edit screen (as the first step of UI AJAXization). Updated plugins: Blogs, Polls, and Online Interview.
Release Notes: Thirty-two (32) bugs were fixed, the Spanish, Russian, and Romanian translations were updated, a new Dutch translation was added, and all sample templates are now available for 2.6.X.
Release Notes: Frontend users can now submit comments about articles, and comments can be moderated by the staff. Article types are now highly configurable: you can reorder fields, hide and show fields, change field types, and translate the field names. Automatic bug reporting has been built in so that if an error occurs, you have the option to submit the problem to the Campsite team. A new notification system was added to display which action you just performed, and error handling has been much improved. Backup/restore scripts now allow you to transfer your site from server to server with ease.
Release Notes: This release adds Korean localization. Article internal links didn't work for multiple publications, demo templates didn't display the correct article in the "About us" section, and the campsite-create-instance script was not set as executable. All of these have been fixed.
Release Notes: This version includes full localizations in Arabic, Croatian, French, German, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian (Cyrillic), Serbo-Croatian (Latin), and Swedish. The Xinha editor now can handle more than 9 images in an article field. Subheads now work correctly in Xinha even when there are extra spaces in them. User creation date now shows up correctly. The root topic language now defaults to the user interface language on the Topics screen. Parts of the home page are now formatted correctly when there are no articles.
Release Notes: Journalists can file articles without needing to learn the site's publication/issue/section hierarchy. Articles can be set up to include drop-down fields containing a list of topics. Topics can be translated, and the Topics screen has undergone a serious usability redesign. The home page has a new layout. The subscription feature has been further refined to allow for subscriptions by language (e.g. access to the Sports section can be controlled or billed for separately for English and Spanish readers).
Release Notes: This release fixes a critical bug and a couple of minor ones. The article indexer didn't work (critical), there was an error changing an Issue's language, and the default country list was updated.
Release Notes: The Xinha "Subhead" button didn't work in Internet Explorer. Non-published articles were shown in "List article" when Preview Mode is used. An error appeared when you edit an issue configuration. The "notifyevents" cron job was sending malformed mail messages. Copying an article created by someone else kept the orginal creator. The permissions for "font face" and "font size" did not turn on the corresponding elements in Xinha. Duplicating a template triggered an error. All of these bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: An installation issue and six minor admin interface bugs were fixed, including some visual formatting problems under Internet Explorer.
Release Notes: Major improvements were made to the backend interface, including simplified article editing and bulk management of articles. It is now possible to attach files to articles, which can be displayed on the frontend and be downloaded by subscribers. An object-oriented API was added so that you can write your own custom plugins.
