Release Notes: In the Web spider, the local URL algorithm was rewritten. Tool 222 was created to suppress local URIs in an HTML file.

Release Notes: MD2, RIPEMD-* and SHA-* cryptographic hash functions were implemented. The new tool 219 computes the cryptographic hash of a file. Modules have been moved into sub-directories.

Release Notes: A new tool implements a SMB/CIFS server. In tool 19, the range check was incorrect. The netwox_mime_hdrencode() function did not correctly encode some characters.

Release Notes: The SMB share enumeration packet was not decoded if the number of available shares was less than announced. The new 210 tool is a Web spider limited to the requested directory. The new 211 tool converts a Web spidered filename to its URL. The new 212 tool indicates where a Web spider stored a URL. Traceroute tools have a new parameter --resolve to resolve hostnames.

Release Notes: Windows file sharing protocol (SMB/CIFS) is implemented, and eleven tools permit you to access shares from any Unix system. Using the command line, user can list shares, manage directories and files, and download and upload trees.
