    Release Notes: Several minor inconsistencies and a potentially fatal bug caused by dropping loadstones have been fixed. Levels completely filled with monsters are handled better. There are Win32 TTY performance enhancements when playing on Windows 98 and Windows Me, and Win32 GUI player selection fixes. There are fixes for X11 player selection bugs, one of which could be fatal. A gold-in-shop-container cheat has been eliminated.

      Release Notes: This release contains more than one hundred general bugfixes, as well as the following more specific items. A fatal bug that triggered a panic when your secondary weapon was cursed during bones file creation, a fatal bug that caused a crash when applying a figurine, candle, or bell that gets used up, message ordering for several actions, some Gnome compilation problems on Red Hat 7.2 and 8.0, and a problem in the util Makefile have been fixed. random() is used by default under Linux instead of lrand48(). There are Win32 TTY adjustments and support for loading alternative key handlers.

        Release Notes: This release is mainly a bugfix release that fixes a few fatal errors including one for reentering shops, one involving land mines and boulders/statues, one for delayed polymorph, and one for chest traps blowing up a ball and chain, fixes buffer overflow that could lead to security problems, corrects several message and other glitches, includes Travel command adjustments and ability to disable travel command, features message recall window extensions, includes some Win32 interface improvements, improves Unix tile support, includes some GNOME fixes and some enhancements, and includes a new Windows CE port.

          Release Notes: There are a great number of bug fixes in this release, as well as many changes and surprises beyond what you see listed below. There were many bug fixes and tweaks to the core code and to several ports. The config file processing and player selection prompts were enhanced. Wish for "nothing", and genocide "none" to preserve your conduct. The new travel command is helpful on handheld computers.

            Release Notes: This version fixes many, many bugs and focuses primarily on stabilizing the features and changes introduced to the game in 3.3.0. A security fix is also included. A new, friendlier warning system is introduced. The Amiga and Atari ports are functional again, and an experimental GTK interface is available.

              Release Notes: Many bugfixes and minor tweaks, incorporation of the wizard patch, splitting of the character's race from his/her/its role in life, new races (Elf, Dwarf, Orc, and Gnome), and a new Ranger role.
