The Netfig Platform is an Eclipse-based product for configuring network devices. It supports advanced editing of configuration files (autocompletion, error underlining, etc.), version control (via CVS), and a console connection to the device. It also allows automatic document access to related product manuals. At this stage the tool is specific to Cisco IOS devices.

Release Notes: This is a maintenance release that mainly fixes a couple of small bugs in the error marking of modes. Registered users can upgrade from within Netfig (see "Help->Software Updates").
Release Notes: The new feature for accessing the device you are configuring to confirm the syntax had a bug in its implementation. This has been fixed. Registered users can pick up the update from within Netfig through "Help->Software Updates".
Release Notes: This version includes the "Live Extraction" feature which allows Netfig to extract the syntax description of the actual device that is being configured as you configure it. Live Extraction will significantly increase the accuracy of Netfig's help and command completion facilities. This release also includes several other fixes and small improvements, including built in feedback forms for feature requests and bug reports.
Release Notes: The big news for this release is a significant improvement in memory performance which has eliminated several problems. There were also some minor bugfixes and a fix to the Motif Linux distribution which contained softlinks that were not being correctly reproduced in the zip file. Registered users can update automatically by selecting "Help->Update Software->Find and Install".
