The New Adventure Shell is a script that turns your shell into a text adventure game. It ought to pose as little restrictions on normal shell use as possible, and allows as many adventure commands as possible.

    Release Notes: Wear, wield, emote, and stow away commands have been implemented. Descriptions for NPCs and dropping and taking money have been implemented. Bugs were fixed in the buy command, and in the use of singular/plural forms of currency. The manual page has been moved to section 6.

        Release Notes: Major bugs in the backpack setup procedure were fixed. Buy/sell and currency commands were added.

          Release Notes: Theme support has been added, as well as several NPC-action routines. Dark, obscured and airless locations have been implemented. The fight routines and scoring system have been rebalanced. Numerous bugs and compatibility issues have been fixed.

            Release Notes: Object classes and an object repository have been added. Initially-created backpacks are provided with a few objects. Location description files understand two new options. The fight routine has been extended. The manual has been updated and restructured.
