Netacct-mysql is modified version of traffic accounting daemon net-acct which stores collected data in MySQL. It supports writing accounting information in a single line in MySQL per day for every IP (mrta style).

    Release Notes: This release added PostgreSQL support and Russian documentation.

      Release Notes: The 2Gb limit per hour was fixed, and is now a 4Gb limit per write in SQL (default 5 minutes). Oracle support was added. Complete documentation in English and Bulgarian was added. Insecure temporary file creation was fixed. A port was made to NetBSD. The MySQL code was optimized. killall -HUP now reloads peering networks. Some old unused code was removed. Code comments were added. The autoconf stuff was rewritten, so gmake is no longer needed *BSD. Other minor bugfixes were made.

        Release Notes: This release fixes some minor bugs, adds configuration for PROMISC mode = yes/no, removes some old unused code, adds Solaris support, Bulgarian documentation, and a FAQ section, and updates the Bulgarian IP space.

          Release Notes: The program now listens on more that one interface using pthreads. A problem with a heavy MySQL load on high network traffic was fixed. The method for storing accounting data in memory was completely rewritten. Four types of traffic are now supported. The documentation was updated. Current traffic is now logged not when a connection is closed.

            Release Notes: This version includes a patch for the netstat Web interface, a fix for the problem that occurred if global_vars = off in PHP environment. Different prices for input and output traffic type were added. A mysql_port was added in config file, and new types of traffic were added: direct (with regional ISPs), and local (between IP networks of one ISP). Netacct-mysql can now listen on more than one interface.
