Release Notes: This release continues the code formatting and API documentation required before the 1.0 release. The mxGraph.getEditingValue hook method was added to return the initial editing value for the given cell. Some minor renamings of methods and fields were also made.
Release Notes: This release improves a lot of the API documentation and unifies various boolean field namings. An example demonstrating Dojo.Storage for client-side persistence has been added. The option to display labels with a background and border is now available on SVG based browsers. Oversize label bounds are now correctly calculated for positioning operations.
Release Notes: This release addresses all known issues required to be resolved before the 1.0 release. Most changes are minor bugfixes or the addition of minor hooks. Of note, Internet Explorer was showing a memory leak on selection, which is now fixed.
Release Notes: Of major note, HTML labels have been added in SVG browsers. Previously, this was only possible in Internet Explorer. See the known issues document for usage details. A new edge style called entity relations has been added to give more flexibility with routing. Child vertices may now be positioned relative to the parent group cell, which gives the option of displaying "port" type vertices for connecting to specific points on a vertex.
Release Notes: This releases deals with many of the minor bugfixes required before the 1.0 release. Various default settings have been fined tuned for usability. The source code is undergoing its final review, with refactoring for functionality hooks and checking the commenting for completeness.
Release Notes: A communications layer and diagram sharing were added to the .NET back-end server example, bringing it up to the same functionality as the Java back-end. A full round-trip example using this back-end is also provided, including the ability for multiple clients to simultaneously edit the same diagram. Label positioning when edges are dragged has been improved. The option to add a background to a label and a label border has been added for edge labels. Fixes have been made to the orgchart example for Internet Explorer and a linefeed issue in the Java back-end example has been resolved.
Release Notes: The release adds Java and .NET backend examples to the existing PHP example, including diagram sharing and I/O in the Java example. The key handler has been changed to not consume all key events for the page; only key events from the graph container are processed. The automatic tree layout now positions the layout correctly in the visible area. The in-place editor position is now wherever the label is, and no longer jumps around. A "snapshot" action has been added to request that the current back-end produce and transfer a static image of the current graph.
Release Notes: A number of API improvements and simplifications have been made for this release. An mxPath object has been added to abstract from the various browser vector graphics languages. This means new shapes only need to be defined in one place and knowledge of SVG and VML is no longer required. A .NET backend has been added in addition to the PHP backend for easy server-side integration.
Release Notes: This release fixes the majority of the important outstanding bugs and is feature complete for the first stable release with a few outstanding bugs. A new example has been added, which demonstrates a generic drawing application.
Release Notes: This release adds printing support and the ability to share diagrams using the PHP backend. Overlays have been made more flexible, providing the ability to locate them anywhere over the cells. The XML encoder has been altered to ensure unique identification of boolean types. The fade effects can now be turned off using a global switch to improve performance.
