Release Notes: Mr. Voice Online was added as an integrated sound-file sharing system for improv clubs. Bundles were implemented as a way to move songs between Mr. Voice installations without having to re-enter data. Optional password protection was added for data changes. A new Web site was created. Mac OS X Application bundles are now available.
Release Notes: This release removes the requirement for MySQL in order to run the software. It uses an embedded SQLite database via DBD::SQLite 1.05. There is an upgrade utility provided to migrate from MySQL to SQLite. In addition, the program itself will offer to perform a default configuration when you run it for the first time, which replaces an external utility. Other features like support for alternate config files and AAC audio media have also been added.
Release Notes: You can drag and drop multiple files at once into the Holding Tank, and drag songs from either the main listbox or the Holding Tank onto a hotkey. Arrow key control works in the listboxes. You can launch a playlist from the Holding Tank. Holding Tank contents can be saved and loaded. An orphaned file check is in the Advanced Search menu. Searches can be restricted based on song publisher.
Release Notes: Major feature enhancements and bugfixes were made, including an easy setup script for Win32 users, the ability to edit or delete multiple songs at a time, major Holding Tank improvements, a nicer display of categories, a hotkey lock to prevent accidental changes, and binary packages for Linux (Red Hat 9) and Mac OS X 10.2 built with PAR. The logo was also improved.
Release Notes: A new "Bulk-Add" feature under the Songs menu lets you add all the MP3/Ogg files in a directory to a specific category. A new hotkey file format shows the title and artist in the hotkey window, instead of the raw filename. Better Ogg Vorbis support is now available for non-Unix platforms. Other enhancements and bugfixes have been added.
Release Notes: Song times are stored in the database to provide great search speedups. There is support for XMMS/Winamp playlists, a Preview Song feature in the Add Song dialog, Auto-population of Title/Artist fields in the Add Song dialog if the MP3 or OGG has tag information, backups and restores of the database from options on the File menu, and other feature enhancements and bugfixes.
Release Notes: New features include a GUI preferences menu for setup, drag-and-drop hotkeys, cosmetic changes, and minor bugfixes.
Release Notes: Moving the add/delete categories and add/delete/edit songs functionality into the program itself, retiring of the PHP frontends, minor bugfixes, and a Windows port.
Release Notes: The ability to save/load hotkeys from a file was added. A dependency on a new Perl module (Tk::FileDialog) was added, so anyone who is upgrading from a prior version will need to get and install that module first.
