Need codec?

MPlayer seems cool all right, but I coulnd't play DivX movies... Anyone knows if I need an extra codec or something?

Exactly what law do you think the MPlayer team has broken? Are you saying they've violated patents because they use the same name as some LAN Gaming service??

By the way, I could not find this gaming service you claim exists. When I search for "MPlayer" all I get is information about MPlayer (the movie player). I also got a bogus result that linked to gamespy.com but it did not have anything mentioning this "mplayer".
