The command-line mpgedit installation package for OS X was repackaged as a Mac OS X application to enable drag and drop uninstallation. Release Notes: This release adds support for Mac OSX 10.3. A graphical waveform selector was added to xmpgedit which allows visualization of silence separating the tracks being edited. Automatic editing was added to the command-line mpgedit which searches for silence separating the tracks. A playback decoder was implemented using MAD (MPEG Audio Decoder or libmad). All new features from the 0.71dev branch were merged into this branch.

Release Notes: This release fixes several serious buffer overrun errors and NULL pointer use problems responsible for frequent crashes of xmpgedit when editing MP3 files encoded at very low bit rates (less than 96kbps), or MPEG2/MPEG2.5 encoded files with the PCM file viewer open. User interface responsiveness has been improved when stopping audio playback of MPEG2/MPEG2.5 encoded files in xmpgedit and mpgedit running in interactive curses mode.
