mp3burn is a simple command-line tool for making audio CDs from MP3s, OGGs, and/or FLAGS without filling up your disk with .wav files.

Release Notes: OGG and Flac support is now included. You can now use configuration files to store options. Long command line options are now supported. ATIP and playlist support have been added.

Release Notes: Changes since 0.02 include bugfixes to the dummy option, Perl >=5.005 MPEG:MP3Info module inclusion, and the requirement that ~/.mp3burnrc cannot be world-writable as it is unsafe. New features in mp3burn include a time check that can now be based on CDR ATIP time, the $CDR_DEVICE environment variable now being checked, and the default tempdir can be specified in ~/.mp3burnrc.

    Release Notes: This release fixes problems with weird filenames and non-standard bitrates. New features include a config file, support for time checking (using MPEG::MP3Info), and several new command-line options.

    This program does one thing and it does it well. I was very impressed, and relieved to find this after trying for hours to burn some MP3's to CD, many other programs just didn't offer this feature.

    mp3 files vs. ogg vorbis files
    Will this prog support Ogg Vorbis audio files, or it is not on thr TODO list?
    It would be a very great featur:)
