Release Notes: This release adds support for dispatchers to save content as well as meta data. MySQL dispatch has been updated to store content, and to use 4.1's binary protocol. Support for RSS2 and podcast style elements in RSS2 feeds has been added. A Debian issue with the installer has been fixed.

Release Notes: This release added Apache 2 support and a new ID3 parser that is smaller, faster, and uses less memory.

Release Notes: Two new dispatches, support for Postgres and a playlist dispatch, a new status handler, and a very simple directory service have been added. The dispatch API has had the random calls removed and should be stable enough to be designed around. There is also new size limiting support to keep people from eating up too much bandwidth.

Release Notes: Bugfixes and new support for dispatches were added. Dispatches allow you to control where data comes from and how it is played (the original internal one plus a MySQL driven one are included). Support for the MusicBrainz XML format has been added. Signatures have been abstracted so they no longer have to be md5s. A new configure script was added for easy 'make'ing. Basic default handlers for mp3 and ogg were added for those who just want their files streamed correctly out of directories and do not want to deal with the overhead of the rest of the system.

Release Notes: ID3v2 support (so more songs have titles), RSS 1.0 support (uses the mod_audio extension), and fixes for a number of random bugs, including one that caused connections to shut down after 16 hours or so.

Release Notes: Support for building pls and m3u lists on the fly, and the ability to set a default outut other than MP3 (so you could have an m3u file sent and just let the player deal with it).

Release Notes: The UDP Ice protocol is now supported. mod_mp3 now supports the two mainstream MP3 streaming protocols. Support has been added to the XML-RPC interface to support searching for titles, and a primitive select interface has been added. Other new features include a default streaming TimeOut to keep the tunes playing longer than an hour.
