Release Notes: This release fixes a file descriptor leak that was triggered when using the trickle feature. Some problems compiling with gcc 2 have been eliminated.

Release Notes: A ClamavSafeURI directive has been added. This provides a simpler way to exclude an URI from virus scanning than the full mod_dnsbl setup.

Release Notes: This release includes a sample.conf configuration file to simplify initial setup of mod_clamav. The directive ClamavMutex has been reintroduced since the defaults used for mutex creation didn't work out quite as well as hoped. Some code cleanup was done, which should also improve performance.

Release Notes: This release fixed a small permission problem: files are now downloaded with permission 0600, which is changed to the permissions specified in the configuration only when scanning for viruses. Some code cleanups were made. The extended logging was streamlined for requests that bypass the virus scanner because of safe patterns.

Release Notes: This release adds several contributed configuration directives. An extended logging directive that allows you to write a dedicated virus scanner log has been contributed. The virus warning message is configurable, and pattern matching code has been added so that the module can now inspect the data returned from the remote server, determine the data type from the contents it finds, and decide whether scanning is necessary based on this type instead of the easily forged MIME type.

Release Notes: This release can work together with mod_dnsbl: you can have a whitelist of sites that need not be scanned for viruses in the DNS, or a blacklist where more paranoid scanner settings are in order. Together with mod_authz_ldap and mod_dnsbl, this module now allows you to build quite complete Internet content security solutions.

Release Notes: A new directive ClamavAcceptDaemonproblem weakens the rules for the module to accept a file as OK. In particular, it allows it to handle problems with the virus scanning daemon more gracefully.

Release Notes: This release can send an HTML page to the user if a file is found to be infected. A cutoff parameter can be used to avoid checking large files, which allows the module to be used in embedded devices.

Release Notes: This version fixes some minor type incompatibilities, a bug by which a safe type would not be bypassed if written with a case different from the configuration file, and a portability bug in configure.in, as Solaris' /bin/sh does not understand test -e (and reacts with a very strange error message).

Release Notes: This release upgrades to a more standard build system using apxs, but no longer builds on Mac OS X (apxs and libtool are seriously broken on that platform, and even have problems on most other platforms).
