The mod_cidr_lookup is an Apache module for version 2.2 and 2.0. The mod_cidr_lookup detects client type by looking up the client's source IP address in CIDR blocks. This module sets the environment variable X_CLIENT_TYPE and the HTTP request header X-Client-Type, so it can be used in both Apache (httpd.conf) and Web applications.

Release Notes: The hook point "ap_hook_post_read_request" was added so that mod_cidr_lookup and SetEnvIf will work fine together in a server or virtual host context.
Release Notes: This release moves the ap_hook point from fixups to header_parser because mod_cidr_lookup must be performed before mod_setenvif if you refer to an environment variable with a SetEnvIf directive.
