Release Notes: Appending external subtitle files works again. mkvmerge can handle simple chapter files with more than 100 chapters. mkvmerge does not report arbitrary display dimensions for OGM files anymore. The parse speed of Quicktime/MP4 header fields has been improved. The Windows installer has been improved a lot.


Release Notes: The timecode handling during appending files has been fixed so that audio/video sync issues should not occur anymore. mkvmerge is much more tolerant regarding the format of timecodes in SRT files, has an updated list of ISO-639-2 language codes, and processes WAV files bigger than 8 GB correctly. mkvmerge can now handle SRT/SSA subtitles in AVI files. mmg processes redraw events much more often during muxing, and allows short timecodes to be entered for splitting.


Release Notes: Tons of bugfixes and a couple of new features were added. The AVC/h.264 support has been improved greatly.


Release Notes: This release fixes a couple of issues with the AVC/h.264 support, changes the defaults so that the annoying "NALU size length" error message does not appear anymore, and features a few usability enhancements. It is now possible to create files in which no track has its "default track" flag set. Support for 14-bit coded DTS files was added.


Release Notes: A couple of rare crashes in mmg and mkvmerge were fixed. A couple of problems with mmg's controls losing focus or being disabled at the wrong time were fixed as well.


Release Notes: This release changes the Quicktime/MP4 code to support for 64bit MDHD atoms and to fix timecode scaling/overflow issues. Ogg/Theora reading has been fixed. A couple of usability enhancements to mmg have been implemented. The "Delay" feature of VobSubs is now supported.


Release Notes: ASS extraction now recognizes 'Actor' as a valid field name for 'Name'. Appending files with RealVideo was broken. Appending AVC video tracks was broken if the user specified the aspect ratio himself. This release changes how AVC frames are referenced. If a video track with extra codec data is extracted, then that extra data is written to the AVI.


Release Notes: Various issues have been fixed, including parsing XML files encoded in UTF-16/32, B frame timecodes and external timecode files, parsing newer and weird Quicktime/MP4 files, and AVC/h.264 timecode references. The extraction of AVC/h.264 video tracks has been implemented. The extraction of timecodes into a "v2" style timecode file has been added as well.


Release Notes: Compilation with older and newer gcc versions has been fixed, several bugs concerning file concatenation, chapters, and splitting have been fixed, the problems with posix_fadvise have been fixed, and raw extraction of track data has been added to mkvextract.


Release Notes: Compilation with the latest libebml and libmatroska releases was fixed. The handling of deprecated elements for XML files was fixed. Negative audio displacement was not working correctly for some formats. mmg could be crashed due to freeing a dialog resource too early.
