Release Notes: Mintty is now compatible with the AllChars utility for emulating an X11-style compose key. A fallback scheme for missing line drawing characters was added, to avoid the dreaded unknown character boxes. The display of combining characters has been improved.

Release Notes: This test release includes fixes for some long-standing annoyances, including one where the program window was created partially off the screen. There are also a few enhancements, such as the WordChars setting for controlling the characters selected by a double click.

Release Notes: An MSYS version of mintty is now available. An option for putting the scrollbar on the left-hand side of the window was added. I/O processing was redesigned to improve signal handling. A few minor UI annoyances were fixed.

Release Notes: A command line option for starting the terminal minimized, maximized, or fullscreen was added. A bug that stopped output from working after suspending the mintty process was fixed. There were tweaks to Ctrl+Tab window switching and word selection.

Release Notes: This release introduces two more new features: Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab shortcuts for switching between mintty sessions, and a window menu command for copying the window title to the clipboard.

Release Notes: The Flip Screen command with the Alt+F12 shortcut allows looking at the last man page viewed or peeking at the command line while editing a file. Xterm compatibility is improved further with features like "bracketed paste mode". Pasting text is quite a bit faster than before.

Release Notes: A few more tweaks on the way to 0.6.1, e.g. improved handling of line endings when pasting from the clipboard. The manual is now up-to-date with the changes in 0.6.

Release Notes: A crash introduced in beta1 was fixed. Error and help messages now work when mintty is invoked from a console or shortcut rather than a terminal. Handling of dropped and pasted paths containing spaces was improved.

Release Notes: Version 0.6 is about tweaks and polish. For example, option dialog settings can now be specified on the mintty command line, dropped files are inserted as POSIX rather than Windows paths, AltGr on non-US keyboards can be used as a right Alt key, and bold font display is improved.

Release Notes: Getting close to a stable release, with an updated manual, a polished options dialog, and some minor fixes.
