Release Notes: The xterm title stack feature has been implemented. A crash when trying to insert or delete out-of-range lines has been fixed.


Release Notes: Mintty has become Cygwin's default terminal, with the Cygwin installer creating desktop and start menu shortcuts pointing to mintty. Some bugs were fixed, e.g. regarding copying of rich text on East Asian systems and log file creation.


Release Notes: After more than three years of development, with hundreds of tweaks, fixes, and enhancements, mintty has been declared sufficiently stable and complete to wear the 1.0 label. There were a few more fixes since 0.9.9, regarding utmp entries, cursor shape updates, and selection of URLs.


Release Notes: A control sequence for enquiring about the display font's Unicode coverage has been added. Handling of Ctrl+symbol and Ctrl+number combinations has been improved. A bug causing rogue mouse release events to be sent under some circumstances has been fixed.


Release Notes: A security issue regarding the control sequence for querying the terminal's locale has been fixed. Rxvt-unicode's extended mouse mode is now supported. Some missing xterm control sequences have been implemented, and the parsing of control sequences generally has been tightened up and brought more into line with xterm.


Release Notes: Configuration file versions of most command line options were added. Readability of the configuration file format has been improved. A crash that occurred when the scrollback size was set to zero has been fixed. NT4 support, which was broken before, has now been officially dropped.


Release Notes: A crash in the handling of combining characters was fixed. Bold text can now be displayed both with a thicker font and a brighter colour, as is the default in xterm and others. An optional set of Ctrl+Shift+letter shortcuts as in Konsole and gnome-terminal was added.


Release Notes: This maintenance release brings various small tweaks and fixes. For example, terminal line settings were brought into line with other terminal emulators, exit handling was redesigned, and a resizing problem in connection with the bbLean window manager was addressed.


Release Notes: Flow control with ^S/^Q was reinstated. Instead, the "ixany" terminal flag is set to restart output on any input character and thus protect users from seemingly hanging their terminal. The options dialog also had a few tweaks.
