Release Notes: Support for USB storage devices on a terminal has been added. There is better multimedia support. NBD swap for low memory terminals is available. There is a new way to define users' login scripts, and local applications are supported. It's now possible to define custom properties in the configurator. The load balancer has been rewritten from scratch, as for initrd and xtermroot scripts. Installation is now entirely done by RPMS packages. With this release, it's possible to limit the bandwidth consumption of terminals. A new tool for classroom management is available.
Release Notes: The installer was simplified and now has cleaner menus. Configuration information was centralized into the mille-xterm.ini file. New documentation on how to use the configurator was introduced. A new naming convention was used for OpenSLP services. Many bugs were resolved.
Release Notes: The sound is now working in X terminals. Cluster classes can be defined to have a cluster in production and a testing cluster. X terminals can be shut down via the System Menu in GDM (patch included). SSHD can easily be launched in X terminals. The Node Manager in the Configurator is now working. Documentation for printing is now included.
Release Notes: This release fixes a number of bugs and contains major new features. The administration mode on the terminal is now working. There is a new module for printing in the configurator and Pykota is linked to the configuration tool. The database of the configurator is new functional and lts.conf file are generated with the database. Version management of DiskOnChip is now managed automatically.
Release Notes: The X terminal with a DiskOnChip can now be updated automatically. It uses the load balancer at each X login. There is new documentation on PyKota for printing accounting. This version includes the first public release of the configurator. It includes a navigation module, a setup module, a node management module, and a login module. There is a new installation and configuration interface.
Release Notes: Components are now all usable. The boot server includes LTSP patches to use new components. The app server now uses a load balancer independent of the boot server, and the list of printers is now defined on a per client basis. In the config server, login is functional and a prototype of the interface was tested in Mozilla and links. The installation directives were updated and there is plenty of new documentation.
Release Notes: This release features a load balancer that auto-discovers your X terminal servers with openSLP. It builds Disk On Chip images automatically and supports the sending of different lts.conf files to clients according to their MAC address. LTSP integration was added, and extensive documentation in French on how to set up openLDAP servers was included.
