mii-diag

The 'mii-diag' program for Linux reports the link status as read from the MII transceiver management registers. It works with most of the Fast Ethernet device drivers, and is able to change some settings, such as fullduplex/halfduplex/autosense and 10/100MBit-operation. It also provides information about the link partner's capabilities.
