Release Notes: The previous version of the JSP edition misbehaved when files were mixed with other form data. This issue has been fixed. The progress bar code has been restructured to ease the integration of Mega Upload into existing Web applications.

Release Notes: The way in which the list of uploaded files is passed to the PHP script by the Perl script was changed in order to overcome a potential security problem. All users of 1.4x versions of megaupload should upgrade immediately.

Release Notes: This release fixes a minor bug that resulted in the progress bar not changing to "upload complete" on some rare occasions when the meter reaches 100%. The contrib folder now contains a replacement for progress.cgi in PHP.

Release Notes: This release calculates and displays the upload speed as well as the time remaining. Though these features were available in the Perl and PHP editions, this is the first release of the Java version to include them.

  •  24 Jun 2004 10:41

  •  03 Jun 2004 11:00

Release Notes: This release fixes a minor bug that resulted in the progress bar not updating in 1.41a in some instances.

Release Notes: A major improvement to the scalability has been achieved with an a change to megaupload's internals. The Perl script has been changed to process the incoming post data instead of merely passing it on to the PHP script. The PHP script now receives a list of uploaded files instead of the files themselves.

Release Notes: Cookies which were removed in version 1.00 have been reintroduced with improvements. The cookie data can now be passed between the Perl scripts and the PHP scripts. This is available as an optional feature to eliminate the installation issues which were reported with version 0.90.

Release Notes: As of this version, uploaded files are saved to a database.
