Release Notes: The makefiles and compile scripts were corrected and enhanced per the GNU coding standards. Many other minor corrections were made.
Release Notes: The user documentation and Unix man pages were fixed. Equality determination of the compare and "solve verify" commands was improved. File operation error reporting of the application was greatly improved. The category for Mathomatic was changed to Education in the desktop menu.
Release Notes: Mistakes were made in the improvement to the simplify command of version 15.1.2; the original working simplify logic of version 15.1.1 is now restored.
Release Notes: A general clean up was done, fixing many minor issues. Simplification was improved. Showing intermediate results when using the calculate, sum, and product commands is now done by typing "set debug 1" beforehand.
Release Notes: The code and documentation were cleaned up. A new simple "matho-sum" utility was added, which only sums its input or arguments. Single quotes are now allowed in variable names, so the derivative command now results in y' (y prime) and y'' (y double prime) for first and second derivative, etc. The primes (') are converted to underlines (_) when exporting with the code or list commands.
Release Notes: The makefiles were corrected. A possible memory leak in the symbolic math library API was fixed. Integer variables are now specified by using a variable name that starts with "integer", like "integer1", "integer_x", etc.
Release Notes: This is a maintenance release; there is no change in the application's functionality. The documentation and makefiles were cleaned up, and the ability to generate a PDF manual with htmldoc was added to the makefile. An oversight in the symbolic math library was fixed by making available the equation number of the result of any call to the API that returns an expression.
Release Notes: In this release, the "factor number", real, and imaginary commands now accept any reasonable input. The Mathomatic documentation has been improved. Expression display is now more compact and prettier.
Release Notes: A Python utility called "primorial" was added to the Prime Number Tools install. It multiplies together the results of matho-primes, displaying the primorials of the integers given on the command line. Problems where closing Mathomatic by closing the shell window was messing up saved readline history and the plot command was not displaying grid marks were fixed.
Release Notes: In the last two releases, some problems were fixed with the makefiles and documentation.
