Mapyrus

Mapyrus is software for creating plots of points, lines, polygons, and labels in PostScript, PDF, SVG, and Web image output formats. It combines the following three components: A Logo or turtle graphics language, reading of GIS datasets and RDBMS tables, and running as a stand-alone program, as a Java Servlet, or as a self-contained Web server.

    Release Notes: CMYK colors were added for PostScript and PDF output. An upgrade to Java 6 and the latest version of project dependencies was made.

      Release Notes: This release adds creation of GeoJSON from Mapyrus. It simplifies combining Mapyrus with OpenLayers. It adds an example to the Mapyrus Web site and manual demonstrating Mapyrus and OpenLayers.

        Release Notes: The REPROJECT function was added to transform coordinates using jhlabs.com PROJ.4 library. SecurityException errors are now avoided when running the GUI with Java Web Start.
